DevOps Intern

Position Title: DevOps Intern
Department: Cloud & Infrastructure
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months

Role Overview:
As a DevOps Intern at Cyber Paradox, you will be involved in building, maintaining, and automating the systems that support our development and deployment pipelines. You'll work alongside developers, security engineers, and system administrators to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. This role provides a strong foundation in modern DevOps practices and real-world cloud operations.

Responsibilities:
You will assist in the development and management of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI. You'll contribute to containerization efforts using Docker and support orchestration with Kubernetes. You will help manage and configure cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Additionally, you'll work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible, monitor system performance, assist with log management, and support secure and automated deployment processes. Involvement in DevSecOps practices will also be encouraged.

Skills Required:
You should have a foundational understanding of Linux systems and be comfortable using command-line tools. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential. You should know at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Shell. Experience with Git for version control, and basic exposure to CI/CD tools, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred. A strong problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn are important for success in this role.
